Hello, dear heart. My name is Rue Arrow and I am in love with Jesus, chai lattes, sunflowers, early mornings, autumn skies, rich hymns, meaningful books, and dancing in the rain. I am some form of a global nomad and strongly believe in the beauty of”counting everything as loss for the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:8).
I write because I believe every human heart is still stirred by the emotion of a good story. Even moreso, I believe in the power of the gospel and each person’s role in furthering “the fragrance of the knowledge of Him everywhere” (Colossians 2:14). Because every soul craves something deeper…something real. And Jesus alone satisfies.

Purpose of This Blog
I have had a lot of ups and downs in life (haven’t we all?), but I have learned that there’s always sunshine out there somewhere. What a shame it is to spend our whole lives too caught up in chasing the rainclouds to notice the sunshine. See, our lives are like clay jars that have been shattered and glued back together. They look like an ugly mess from the outside…but put a candle in the jar and you’ll notice how the light shines through the cracks.
God is the beauty in our broken. My prayer for each of you is that you will acknowledge the scars, the wounds, and the hurt, but that you will let God work in and through them.
This life is a mess…but with Yahweh’s love it can be a beautiful mess.
